The latest issue of Cinescape Magazine features an exclusive interview with Jeri Ryan. Here are some excerpts :
"I do have to say that it's been great fun." Ryan told journalist Cindy Perlman "The way the character has been written has really exceed my hopes and my best expectations."
"It was terrifying - absolutely horrifying" the actress recalls about her first day on the Voyager set "Just walking on that bridge looking at everybody in Trek uniforms with their communicator badges on. I'm going "Oh, my God. This is actually Star Trek.'"
Ryan, who is now starring in the Wes Craven-produced horror movie Dracula 2000, says about typecasting "It has always been important to me branch out and do things that aren't of Trek nature."
To read more on Ryan's thoughts on Voyager and her life, plus exclusive interviews with Andromeda star Kevin Sorbo and Pocket Books editor John Ordover, pick up the January/February issue of Cinescape, now on sale.
