Garth over at Dark Horizons posted the following addendum to his script review of "Broken Bow" with regard to the specific nature of the series' villain race, the Suliban:

"One addendum to the script review yesterday I forgot to mention but have had a few questions about it: Yes the Suliban have this 'skeletal restructuring' ability, what it looks like is hard to figure out (even with the text) but the abilities it gives them are cool. Unlike Odo's shapeshifting ability (which was only shown twice in the pilot), here its shown about half a dozen times and allows them to flatten themselves out and squeeze through door and wall cracks only a few inches wide. It also gives them the ability to turn arms, legs, wrists, etc. 360 degrees and so are nearly impossible to restrain with conventional means like handcuffs."

I warm to Enterprise all the time. If this is true, it sounds interesting.

Whither Suliban?

I hope "Enterprise" eventually explains why all subsequent series and movies made no reference to the Suliban. Will they eventually be extinct? Leave the galaxy?

The more I hear about 'Enterprise', the more I am anxiously awaiting its premiere...The Sulibian sound quite unique...as for 'originality'..nothing is original in TV land..its all been done before, so Get Over It.

...once again, your originality shines like a beacon through the fog. Try "The Fantastic Four", created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby. I'll give you points for trying, though.

I'm now convinced that, if nothing else, "Broken Bow" should rock pretty hard.

OPINION POLLS
ENTERPRISE has been revealed this week and we'd like to know how you would rate the show so far based on the new Enterprise NX-01, the interior set design, the new costumes, and any other info that you may already possess!
(A) Spectacular! The first looks offered this week reveal a series with immense potential and more excitement for Star Trek than I've felt since the days of TNG!
(B) Impressive, but cautiously so! What I've seen so far has promise and most of it is in the right direction, but I will restrain my jubilation for after the premiere!
(C) Uninteresting! The photos I've seen so far reveal a series that lacks serious originality in artistic design and I am open-minded yet skeptical of its potential!
(D) Horrifying! What we've been shown so far is unoriginal and unexciting, revealing a series unexcuseably violative of continuity and poorly developed; Paramount will be lucky if I tune in!
