The latest issue of the Space View magazine, just out in Germany, features a cover story on ENTEPRISE, featuring a photo of star Scott Bakula and the previous four Star Trek captains on the cover. Excerpts of the article, (mostly already known internet reports and rumors) can be found (in German) here.

Tha magazine also features an article on the recent Fed Con 9 convention, which took place in Bonn, Germany. According to the report, Levar Burton again expressed interest in directing the next Trek feature film, as well episodes of the next series. Other guests at the convention include Jennifer Lien (photo below), Alexander Siddig and Manu Interaymi. You can read the original report (in German), which includes photos and interviews with the guests, here. (Thanks to TrekToday for the translation)

I love that they've got all the captains in their uniforms and Bakula in a baseball cap.

Spock: It appears that Jennifer Lien is suffering from a mild case of
Nichelle-Nichols-itis.

Kirk: Are we in any danger?

Spock: Not yet, Captain. But if she continues to grow, we could all be affected.

Kirk: May as well kill her now then.

Spock: I believe that her career has already been taken care of.

OPINION POLLS
ENTERPRISE has been revealed this week and we'd like to know how you would rate the show so far based on the new Enterprise NX-01, the interior set design, the new costumes, and any other info that you may already possess!
(A) Spectacular! The first looks offered this week reveal a series with immense potential and more excitement for Star Trek than I've felt since the days of TNG!
(B) Impressive, but cautiously so! What I've seen so far has promise and most of it is in the right direction, but I will restrain my jubilation for after the premiere!
(C) Uninteresting! The photos I've seen so far reveal a series that lacks serious originality in artistic design and I am open-minded yet skeptical of its potential!
(D) Horrifying! What we've been shown so far is unoriginal and unexciting, revealing a series unexcuseably violative of continuity and poorly developed; Paramount will be lucky if I tune in!
