'Kang' Actor, Barbara Eden's Son Found Dead

From USA Today:

The bodybuilder son of actress Barbara Eden and her ex-husband, character actor Michael Ansara, was found dead in his car, but it will take an autopsy to determine the cause, authorities said Tuesday. Matthew Michael Ansara, 35, an aspiring actor and fitness buff, was found Monday night at a gas station in Monrovia, Calif., about 10 miles east of Los Angeles. No signs of trauma were found. Eden starred in the 1960s sitcom 'I Dream of Jeannie'.

Of course, 'Trek' fans will recall Michael Ansara played 'Kang' in the 'Star Trek' episode "Day of the Dove" and 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine' episode "Blood Oath".

The son of one of the Trek regulars is found dead and do we find condolances for the family? Any, "Oh, isn't that terrible?" or "That's such a shame!" No, we get people bitching about the headline and making seriod jokes.

You people are real peices of work, let me tell you.

You're headline is unclear and led me to believe Michael Ansara himself was found dead with Barbara Eden's son.

On an unreleated note my faith in humanity is further eroded by the Trekweb wag who felt compelled to use his time on this Earth to make a snarky comment about this story. Therefore let me exercise my freedom of speech and label said poster an insensitive asshole.

My condolences go to both parents. I never want to outlive my children.

Ansara also played KANG on Voyager's "FLASHBACK"....yeah, I know, If I were him I'd keep Voyager episodes off my resume, too :)

OPINION POLLS
ENTERPRISE has been revealed this week and we'd like to know how you would rate the show so far based on the new Enterprise NX-01, the interior set design, the new costumes, and any other info that you may already possess!
(A) Spectacular! The first looks offered this week reveal a series with immense potential and more excitement for Star Trek than I've felt since the days of TNG!
(B) Impressive, but cautiously so! What I've seen so far has promise and most of it is in the right direction, but I will restrain my jubilation for after the premiere!
(C) Uninteresting! The photos I've seen so far reveal a series that lacks serious originality in artistic design and I am open-minded yet skeptical of its potential!
(D) Horrifying! What we've been shown so far is unoriginal and unexciting, revealing a series unexcuseably violative of continuity and poorly developed; Paramount will be lucky if I tune in!
