Dept: TrekWeb Features

For all those who have just been dying to hear my voice, I will be appearing as the guest tomorrow night Saturday, July 21 on the Sci-Fi Files Radio Show, produced here in sunny Orlando, Florida. The broadcast will be from Midnight to 2 A.M. EDT and I will appear around 12:30. You can tune in locally to AM 540 WDBO or goto the Sci-Fi Files web site and click the "listen live" button to hear the broadcast over the Internet.

I will be discussing the online excitement surrounding the new 'Trek' series ENTERPRISE, including information all about the series. I will also hopefully touch upon the latest rumors for 'Star Trek X' as well the history of TrekWeb itself, which as many of you may already know, is approaching its five year anniversary this fall.

Listeners can call in to the show locally at 407-290-0058 or toll-free at 1-800-329-5858. If you want to discuss ENTERPRISE, put in your two cents, or ask a question, please don't hesitate to call in to the show!

the probe's wave from The Voyager Home, spend a half hour navigating the wastelands of AM radio.

I did manage to catch parts of the show as I drove around town hunting for a signal. Sadly, most of it was incoherent. Hopefully someone will make a useful copy available in the future, or at least a transcript.

I couldn't get the feed to work in IE or Netscape. It could be because I'm behind a firewall, I don't know. I can't test that theory.

I'll have to give the old analog radio a go. Hope I have batteries...

and listened to a stream, you'll be asked to register with your name, birthday, and an email address. I just used my dcemail.com address.

It seems you'll need to have JavaScript and ActiveX enabled. The live stream page uses lots of frames and Windows Media Player. If you're on MacOS you might be out of luck. If you're using Linux or *BSD, you are definately out of luck. Boot a Windows partition or shrug it off.

OPINION POLLS
You will be watching ENTERPRISE because...
It's a 'Star Trek' series after all, I don't care about the producers, actors, or writers!
Scott Bakula. He is a fan-favorite because of his work on 'Quantum Leap'.
Jolene Blalock . Sexploitation be damned, she is hotter than Jeri Ryan!
It's not set in the over-used 24th Century, full of tecnobabble, quantum anomalies or Borg [yet]!
If nothing else, the UPN promos have done it for me!
Who said I will be watching? Berman and Braga will destroy 'Star Trek' with this prequel concept!
