Additional Guest Cast Information For Pilot "Broken Bow"

Dept: Enterprise | www.stenterprise.com

The Internet Movie Database, somtimes accurate and sometimes jumping the gun, has added actor Gary Graham to the "Broken Bow" guest cast list, playing a character with a distinctly Vulcan-sounding name, 'Soval'. Graham has appeared in 'Star Trek: Voyager' in the second season episode "Cold Fire" playing 'Tanis.' Graham has also appeared in 'Seven Days', and may have been recommended by Stephen Beck, one of the new writers onboard ENTERPRISE, who previously served on 'Seven Days'.

Additionally, the IMDB also echoes rumors from other sites that actor James Fitzpatrick may be playing 'Admiral Williams' in the pilot. Joining these actors is veteren 'Trek' guest, Vaughn Armstrong, as the 'Klingon Pilot'.

I was just at the Star Trek Experience in Vegas yesterday, where one of the clerks was telling me that the museum portion pulled the Vulcan costumes for First Contact, presumably sending them to Hollywood.

According to the original casting sheet, Soval is:

a Vulcan male. Late 60s. A wise and arrogant diplomat who has very little patience with Captain Archer.

Perhaps this is who T'Pol directly reports to.

Gary Graham

Gary Graham's role was announced on Tencton-L, the Alien Nation mailing list, about a month ago. I didn't realize that the Trek sites didn't know it, or I could have delivered a (small) scoop!

The word was that Gary's role might be a recurring one.

Gary, of course, played Matt Sikes on the short-lived but excellent TV show Alien Nation (along with M*A*S*H, one of the few cases in which the TV show surpassed the movie it was adapted from).

I think that's a pretty good line-up of guest stars. Perhaps the Klingon pilot will re-appear in later episodes?

You will be watching ENTERPRISE because...
It's a 'Star Trek' series after all, I don't care about the producers, actors, or writers!
Scott Bakula. He is a fan-favorite because of his work on 'Quantum Leap'.
Jolene Blalock . Sexploitation be damned, she is hotter than Jeri Ryan!
It's not set in the over-used 24th Century, full of tecnobabble, quantum anomalies or Borg [yet]!
If nothing else, the UPN promos have done it for me!
Who said I will be watching? Berman and Braga will destroy 'Star Trek' with this prequel concept!
