Newsbits: Terry Farrell Sicks-Out With Cast of 'Becker' and Kim Cattral TV Appearance

Last Monday, actress Terry Farrell ('Jadzia Dax') joined with four other major cast members of the CBS sitcom 'Becker' (Ted Danson not included) in calling in sick to work. While contract negotiations have not gotten underway, the stars are said to be asking for more than the same salaries that they've been receiving since the show debuted three years ago. In an interesting move, Paramount TV head Kerry McCluggage dispatched doctors to the actors' homes on Monday to confirm whether they were really sick -- if not, the move would represent a breach of contract. While some of the actors' representatives labelled this move as "harrassment", Farrell and all sick-outers returned to work Tuesday.

In other People news, actress Kim Cattral ('Valeris', ST VI) will appear on the Late Show With David Letterman this week on Wednesday, August 8th. Cattral is a regular cast member on the HBO comedy, 'Sex and the City'.

Sounds like Terri Farrel is getting an ego. She had almost no career before DS9, left the show and let fans down and now is on a crappy show thats not funny called Becker. She better count her blessings shes even working.

Fair enough Terry Farrel is being talked about here in non Star Trek business, she was a major cast member in DS9. But Valeris? She had a comparably small role in one film and gets a mention here? We're gonna get updates on TNG's episodical helm Extras next!
Christ this is dumb!

You will be watching ENTERPRISE because...
It's a 'Star Trek' series after all, I don't care about the producers, actors, or writers!
Scott Bakula. He is a fan-favorite because of his work on 'Quantum Leap'.
Jolene Blalock . Sexploitation be damned, she is hotter than Jeri Ryan!
It's not set in the over-used 24th Century, full of tecnobabble, quantum anomalies or Borg [yet]!
If nothing else, the UPN promos have done it for me!
Who said I will be watching? Berman and Braga will destroy 'Star Trek' with this prequel concept!
