ENTERPRISE Heading To UK's Sky One After All

Ever since the official announcements of ENTERPRISE, UK fans have wondered whether the new series would be broadcast in their country. Today, TrekZone reports that following the recent UK broadcast of the 'Voyager' finale, "Endgame", a trailer of the following one-liners was displayed before the ending credits:

Before Janeway
Before Picard
Before Sisko
Before Kirk

ENTERPRISE
Coming Soon on Sky One

(Note: In fact, a different promo to the earlier UPN trailer - despite similarities)

According to The Great Link, this trailer also included a picture of the Enterprise NX-01 at the end.

This indeed is a strong suggestion -- if not outright confirmation -- that the Sky One Network will carry ENTERPRISE sometime soon in the United Kingdom.

There was never any doubt

There was no doubt Enterprise would be shown here. I was partially doubtful that Sky would get it though, as E4 has begun to air TOS which could be an indication that possibly all Treks will be bought by the company, as Sky lost the bid for rights to air new Friends and ER seasons.

I don't think Americans quite get our TV system, let me explain. Sky One is not a "network", it is merely the primary Entertainment channel for the Sky sattelite network. Almost all shows on satellite are aired on the terestrial channels at some time or another, usually about a year later.
If it's in English we'll see it over here.
If they say Coming Soon then it'll be on Sky, in a few months time.

How long ago did Endgame air in america? I wanna know so I can predict when i'll see Enterprise.

"UK fans have wondered whether the new series would be broadcast in their country."

I can't speak for everyone, I'm sure there are dumb people out there. But to me it was never an issue. Every Trek has been shown over here, and Voyager has always been a good ratings winner for Sky. Enterprise not showing here was never an issue in my mind.

Being that Rupert Murdoch owns Sky One, at least he & Berman have one thing in common...they're both out to make a quick dollar.

Confirmation, not a strong suggestion! :) As per usual, us terrestrial BBC watchers will have to wait. :(

You will be watching ENTERPRISE because...
It's a 'Star Trek' series after all, I don't care about the producers, actors, or writers!
Scott Bakula. He is a fan-favorite because of his work on 'Quantum Leap'.
Jolene Blalock . Sexploitation be damned, she is hotter than Jeri Ryan!
It's not set in the over-used 24th Century, full of tecnobabble, quantum anomalies or Borg [yet]!
If nothing else, the UPN promos have done it for me!
Who said I will be watching? Berman and Braga will destroy 'Star Trek' with this prequel concept!
