First Indication That U.S. Markets Without UPN May Still Get ENTERPRISE

TrekWeb visitor Craig Morris sends in word that ENTERPRISE will air in St. Louis via the WB affilate there, KPLR 11, at 8:00 PM on Saturdays. This information is also now available through the station's web site.

'Voyager' was typically syndicated to markets around the country that did not have a UPN affiliate and this would appear to be the first confirmation that the same will be true for Trek's newest series. Hopefully UPN's deficiency of national coverage won't hinder the new series if other non-UPN markets receive ENTERPRISE in a similar manner.

America vs. The Rest of the world? Hardley trek related

I totally disagree with bastard box and the dude below me statement. American is the economic center of the world. Not canada Not where ever dud is from. And since Enterprise is an american show, get this, It will be first aired in the US.. amazing isn't it. And though it is true, our country is better than everyone else's we don't go gloat it until we get comments like the one below. Why would George Bush ever leave the country till he was a president. He was the governor of texas.. That hardly requires leaving the country. The US is a great country. Love it or leave it is a common motto here. We love our country, as you do yours, but you try to put down america in order to make your self feel better. for some reason i can't comprehend. This is a Trek site. Not tear down america site. Get over it. If you want to tear down americas image im sure somewhere there is a site in which you can do that. So please don't wipe your national remarks all over this site. thank you. And oh yes.. I am insulting your thoughts and opinions. just so ya know.

I agree with Bastard Box's comment below, Americans seem to believe that they're better than everyone else, but aren't they the ones slowing down the rest of the world's Economy? No wonder George Bush never left the US till he became president, his heads too full of American Pride to carry overseas via normal means!

I'm finished.
Please do not take any part of this comment as an insult as it is intended to be purely a documentation of my thoughts and opinions.

Typical American "We're at the center of the universe" attitude. Like nothing else in the world can happen without your say-so? Jesus fuck...

"'Voyager' was typically syndicated to markets around the country that did not have a UPN affiliate and this would appear to be the first confirmation that the same will be true for Trek's newest series."

First of all, it is not. I've known for the past month (by its own advertising) that an independant Canadian television station is carrying "Enterprise" when it debutes. It is certainly not a UPN affiliate because it wouldn't have lasted as long, and become as popular locally, as it has. The only reason I didn't come rushing to you with the news is because, WHO CARES??? Is it really that noteworthy? We knew it would happen anyway.

Second of all, do your research a bit better. Try not to limit it to matters within U.S. borders because, like it or not, there is a whole world out there, and we watch television as well. Yes Krutzler, I'm talking to you...

Not a big deal

ThIt seems that the people of St.Louis already knew that they'd get to see Enterprise. This remindes me of when TW said that we in the UK were wondering if Enterprise would be broadcast here, while the only question on our minds was how soon after it aired in the US would we see it.

St. Louis WB11

This is old news in St. Louis. It was announced at least a month ago that WB11 would be using its open Saturday night programing to show Buffy, Enterprise and Roswell in that order from 7-10. I don't understand why this is big news unless the situation with UPN shows in non-UPN markets is a big mystery.

And this situation in St. Louis is only a one-year deal as the QVC station (32, I think) becomes a UPN affliliate next year.

You will be watching ENTERPRISE because...
It's a 'Star Trek' series after all, I don't care about the producers, actors, or writers!
Scott Bakula. He is a fan-favorite because of his work on 'Quantum Leap'.
Jolene Blalock . Sexploitation be damned, she is hotter than Jeri Ryan!
It's not set in the over-used 24th Century, full of tecnobabble, quantum anomalies or Borg [yet]!
If nothing else, the UPN promos have done it for me!
Who said I will be watching? Berman and Braga will destroy 'Star Trek' with this prequel concept!
