The official web site has posted a report on day one of Slanted Fedora's 35th Anniversary four-day convention at the Aleix Hotel in Las Vegas this weekend. With each day devoted to a different series, William Shatner had to appear during yesterday's otherwise "TNG day" and revealed that he will be playing a recurring role on the new Jason Alexander ABC sitcom, 'Bob Patterson', premiering Thursdays at 9 P.M. The show is also produced by ex-DS9er, Ira Steve Behr. Shatner again proclaimed that he knows nothing about ENTERPRISE and ad libbed his famous "Oh my..." at the end of GENERATIONS in reaction to a jet liner passing over head at the time that made him think of the Enterprise.
With guests such as Brent Spiner and Michael Dorn and other TNGers slated to have appeared yesterday, it is odd that the official site doesn't report on their comments, which one would assume would gravitate towards STAR TREK: NEMESIS...
