TrekWeb has received confirmed reports that 'Trek' composer Jay Chattaway has told sources that he will be scoring (or has already scored) the first episode of ENTERPRISE after the pilot ("Fight or Flight") and possibly several other episodes. Sources also suggest that the composer dropped subtle hints as to the contemporary feel of the scoring for the series, saying it will remain primarily orchestral as in previous 'Trek' series, but with the addition of more "Earthy" sounds, possibly guitar and percussion. The music is intended to sound more modern than previous 'Trek' series' musical scores.
