Trek Magazines Interview Kate Mulgrew and Patrick Stewart

The latest issue of Star Trek Monthly, just out in the U.K., features an exclusive interview with Voyager star Kate Mulgrew. She talks about life after Star Trek, her memories of the show, her feelings about her role as Captain (and Admiral) Janeway, her favorite episodes ['Caretaker', 'Death Wish', 'Counterpoint' and 'Endgame'] and even talks about the new Star Trek show, ENTERPRISE.

"I wouldn't give any advice to the [new] cast" she told journalist Ian Spelling "I specially feel that I don't have to give any advice to Scott Bakula. He obviously knows this game better than I do. He drove a hard bargain with the studio, he knows what he wanted and he's a veteran. Plus, he'd done a sci-fi show [Quantum Leap] before. So he knows what he's doing. I just wish them all luck".

TheTotally Kate ! website just posted the full transcript of the interview here.

Also, the latest issue of Star Trek The Magazine, just out in the U.S., features an exclusive interview with star Patrick Stewart, in which he talks about the 35th Anniversary of Star Trek, his relationship to Gene Roddenberry and his future projects, including the upcoming TNG movie and X-Men 2.

(A) The premiere was great, but I'm reserving judgment on ENT until later.
(B) The premiere was good, but a little flimsy in the brains department.
(C) The premiere was on par with other Trek pilots, but nowhere near the top.
(D) The premiere was generally unimpressive and ENT needs improvement.
(F) The premiere was an utter disappointment and a disgrace to Star Trek! I may not even tune in next week!
