Insurrection Actor to Portray a Cartwright |

Months ago it was reported in Trek fandom that actor Casey Biggs (Damar on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) was up for the role of Ben Cartwright on The Ponderosa, a prequel to Bonanza. This was due to a preliminary photograph taken of actors in costume in order to sell the series. That he received the part was denied by the actor.[/p]
[p]According to Pax TV's official The Ponderosa website, the part has gone to another Star Trek veteran, Daniel Hugh Kelly. Kelly portrayed the character of Sojef in Star Trek: Insurrection. While this was stated by sources a few months back, the website now has photos and filmographic information for Kelly.
