Sci Fi Wire is reporting that actor John Billingsley, who plays Doctor Phlox on Enterprise, will be portraying himself in the previously reported Roswell episode titled "Secrets and Lies". While not appearing in costume or make-up, Billingsley will be the Enterprise actor with whom Max (Jason Behr) will audition. Also appearing in the scene is episode director Jonathan Frakes.
The Zap2It article also discusses the history behind this crossover, including Roswell's Trek connections: Ronald D. Moore and Jonathan Frakes. Also discussed is Scott Bakula's decision not to "break the fourth wall" this early with his character, Starfleet Captain Jonathan Archer.
