Variety likes ENTERPRISE, saying "Debut seg establishes an adventurous tone and, unlike the series "Voyager," sets up more in the way of multi-episode story arcs."

And so does The Hollywood Reporter, saying "Given the entertaining, engaging premiere, "Enterprise" looks like it ought to have a good, long run and, eventually, a successful syndication deal."

Revolution Sci-Fi has also reviewed the series premiere, with various reviewers chiming in with their thoughts:
Shane Ivey says "If you ask me, Enterprise is the best and the worst thing to happen to Star Trek in a long time. Why the best? Because in capturing a sense of the danger and wonder and joy of exploration - exploration, in this day and age! - it might go a long way toward reinvigorating a weary franchise, toward giving Star Trek more relevancy than all of the politically correct metaphors of Deep Space Nine and Voyager. And by making its heroes more earthy, more passionate and less reliant on smarm and special effects, Enterprise can make itself more immediate and vital to an audience that's grown quite accustomed to shallow characterization and paper-thin dialog."
Kevin Pezzano balances his positivity with "Unfortunately, there was a heavy dose of lameness to go along with the Trekker-oriented fun in Enterprise. The good news is that it's not Voyager-type lameness. The bad news is that it's Baywatch-type lameness. The entire sequence where an erect-nippled T'Pol, clad in tanktop and shorts, gets all greased-up with the cracker chief engineer of the Enterprise redefined "gratuitious". And don't EVEN get me started on the Rigelian table dancers. Maybe I'm just a prude, but a Trek series does not need fanservice like that. Save it for anime, guys."
Joe Crowe says "I was ready to use my Criticalizer here. But after seeing this first episode, I can already say I like it better than I ever did Voyager. Okay... that's not very high praise. I like this better than Deep Space Nine, too. This is no Next Generation yet, but Next Gen took time to grow on me."

Finally, Canadian fans had the opportunity to watch the ENTERPRISE premiere early last night and have posted on the STAR TREK BBS with their thoughts and reactions.
