Zap2it has published the overnight metered ratings for last night, Wednesday, October 3rd. UPN slipped to fourth place, averaging 5.5/8 (last week 9.1/13) behind the big three networks, who marshalled viewers with a special terrorism episode of THE WEST WING and 60 MINUTES II. NBC won the top spot averaging 13.2/20 for the night with its special episode of WEST WING winning the nine o'clock hour with an 18.0/26 and LAW AND ORDER winning the ten o'clock hour with a 16.3/25. NBC's finale of LOST slumped with a 5.3/8.
In second place was CBS, whose 60 MINUTES II won the eight o'clock hour with a 9.5/14, followed by ABC's comedy MY WIFE AND KIDS, which garnered a 8.6/13.
ENTERPRISE's second episode "Fight or Flight" scored a 7.2/11 (last week 9.1/12). All of these numbers will go down somewhat as the final ratings are tabulated (those numbers should be out tomorrow). Again, UPN's lack of full national coverage (82%) continues to hurt the network.
