Scheduling Conflicts Between 'X-Men 2' and 'Nemesis'

Zap2it.com reports that with FOX scheduling a January 2002 start-of-shooting date on the 'X-Men 2' sequel, schedule conflicts for its stars have popped up. Halle Berry was set to star with Ben Affleck in the hitman flick 'Gigli' at the end of the year before reprising the role of 'Storm' in February/March. This moving up means Berry has had to drop out of 'Gigli' and Director Martin Brest indicates a replacement has yet to be cast for 'Gigli'.

Another potential conflict is Patrick Stewart - with Paramount moving ahead on 'Star Trek Nemesis' which starts shooting in a few weeks, his commitments to it and playing 'Professor Charles Xavier' in 'X-Men 2' makes things difficult and will probably require some re-scheduling.

7-8: Great! The series is wonderful with only a few rough edges!
5-6: Good. The potential is there but the series has yet to tap into it.
3-4: Mediocre! So far the series is not much different than previous TREKs and the quality is questionable.
1-2: Abhorrent! The series is rotten through and through from premise to execution!
    No vote: Choices unacceptable!
