Trek Galaxy just posted an exclusive interview with ENTERPRISE actor Anthony Montgomery, who plays 'Ensign Travis Mayweather'.
"I am so thrilled about the opportunity" he told journalists Gregory L. Norris and Laura A.Van Fleet "I try not to go to the real serious place, but the reality is that I'm the next African-American in Space. That's a weight that Nichelle Nichols carried. It's not that I wake up and slap myself and say 'Alright, Anthony, go be a black man in space'. But being there, my heritage is something I think about."
