DVD File is reporting that the director's edition DVD of STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE has won a Video Premiere Award. The article states that this award is in the category of New, Enhanced or Reconstructed Movie Scenes. Credit is given to David C. Fein, Michael Matessino and Daren R. Dochterman, all of whom worked on this restoration and edit.
