Plot Summary for "Sleeping Dogs" Reveals the Klingons Return (SPOILERS)

TrekToday's source continues offering complete spoiler info for upcoming ENT episodes, this time for "Sleeping Dogs," expected to air in February and going before cameras next week according to last night's TrekWeb chat with writer Andre Bormanis.

The site's source reveals that the episode centers around the NX-01 discovering a Klingon raptor-class scout ship floating near a gas giant. Upon investigation by Archer et al, all the Klingon warriors aboard appear infected by some sort of virus. Soon one Klingon -- the female cook -- who is unaffected surfaces and takes three Enterprise officers hostage on her vessel, distrusting that Archer and his crew are there to help the Klingons. Eventually Dr. Phlox determines that the Klingons were poisoned by the Orions through the alchohol they consummed while celebrating a victory at an Orion trading post.

The female Klingon is brought about the Enterprise for treatment and eventually accedes to T'Pol's insistence that Archer is there to assist. Once the Klingons are cured, they agree not to destroy the Enterprise as long as it leaves immediately. The episode ends with Trip, Hoshi, and Reed relaxing in the Decon chamber after their ordeal.

The site does mention that this information is only based on portions of the script and story that was able to be seen. As usual, the plot and story is copyright © by Paramount Pictures. All rights reserved.
