ENTERPRISE actor Dominic Keating appeared at this past weekend's San Jose convention. According to one attendee, Jarrod Adams (via TrekToday), Keating revealed that in an upcoming episode his character, Malcolm Reed, will share a "special moment" with Hoshi Sato as the communications officer asks him a personal question. Another report, from Trek5.com includes several photos and quotes from Dominic.

"We have a..." Keating pauses, "a complicity. We joke around all the time, and we like to go after the 'Maxim girl.'" He slips into a mock pose.

"Jolene, can you do that pose for us? Ooh, or this one here?" But the ribbing does not stop at Blalock as he revealed the new crew nickname for Connor Trinneer is "the Third Nacelle."

Dominic also reveals that he'll have an underwear scene of his own in an upcoming episode. For those reports, go here and here.

In addition, TNG star Gates McFadden attended this event and mentioned that she's looking forward to beginning shooting for NEMESIS and that she feels the writing for the film is an improvement over the last installment, 1998's INSURRECTION.
