DS9 and VOY Writer Bryan Fuller Scores Showtime Series |

According to Zap2it, long-time TREK writer/producer Bryan Fuller has entered into a deal with Showtime for a two-hour series pilot titled DEAD GIRL, as well as additional scripts of the potential series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series concerns an 18-year old girl who is reincarnated as the Grim Reaper with the task of "checking people out" when their time comes. Along the way she breaks the rules of being a "Reaper" and gains some life-affirming insights.
DEAD GIRL could be picked up to replace one of two Showtime series currently not renewed.
Bryan chatted with us here at TrekWeb several times while working on VOYAGER, and we wish him the best in this newest venture.
