In the latest UK edition of Starlog magazine, ENTERPRISE star Scott Bakula spent some time talking to journalist Ian Spelling about the show and his fellow castmembers. As a lot of fans have been concerned about the character of 'T'Pol' (Jolene Blalock) and the catsuit that she wears, Bakula had some things to say about the Archer/T'Pol conflict and the fan concerns.
"I think the way T'Pol is introduced and presented, and the way that Archer feels about her, will influence how the fans feel about her" he told the magazine "We clash very often and have many issues. Look, everyone's going to have their own reaction, but character-wise, T'Pol is a confrontational character. She is the bad guy on the ship. I think people will respond to her in the same way, ideally, that Archer responds to her. She's not really welcome. The whole Vulcan history leading up to us getting into space is somewhat cloudy and, certainly from my character's point of view, not favourable. He has some definate, strong feeling's about T'Pol, and I assume that some of the people in the audience are going to respond the same way."
