LOS ANGELES (The Hollywood Reporter) --- Steven Culp and Dina Meyer have been added to the cast of Paramount Pictures' "Star Trek: Nemesis" for director Stuart Baird.
The 10th installment of the franchise will begin shooting next month. The duo joins a cast that includes Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Hardy, Majel Barrett, Kate Mulgrew and Wil Wheaton.
Rick Berman is producing the project, with Digital Domain overseeing the visual effects.
Meyer will play Cmdr. Donatra (a Romulan character), while Culp will play Cmdr. Madden (a new Starfleet character). Both actors are repped by Paradigm.
Culp, additionally repped by manager Miriam Milgrom, is best known for his portrayal of Robert F. Kennedy in "Thirteen Days." He most recently starred in the Cinemax telefilm "How to Make a Monster" and next stars in Universal Pictures/Beacon Communications' "The Palace Thief."
Meyer, additionally repped by Evolution Entertainment's Tiffany Kuzon, has completed several indie features, including "Unspeakable," "The Movie Nut and His Audience" and "Federal Protection."
