It appears that UPN has decided to move the beginning of new episodes from January 23rd up to January 16th, and today released the official synopsis (via Psi Phi) for "Silent Enemy," an episode written by staff writer Andre Bormanis, as revealed in his November TrekWeb chat.
"When Enterprise is attacked by an unidentified enemy ship, the crew must work frantically to get their new phase canons to operate. Meanwhile, Archer realizes that no one knows Reed well enough to give him a personalized birthday gift, on Enterprise airing Wednesday, January 16 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on UPN."
The episode is directed by TREK vet Winrich Kolbe and guest stars Jane Carr, Guy Siner, Paul Malcomson, and John Rosenfeld.
