Linda Park spoke with the Alumni Quarterly at her alma mater, Boston University, Bostonia, about the acting craft. The 2000 graduate from the institution's School of the Fine Arts says her stage training hasn't completely prepared her for work before the camera: "I'm still learning about the differences between TV camera awareness and stage awareness; I'm asking lots of questions," she says. "A camera is a very, very different beast. You need to learn to move in front of the moving eye, to find your light."
The actress also reveals that she is a certified actor combatant, trained in the rapier, dagger, and broadsword, as well as a bronze level international ballroom dancer. "It's such an integral part of acting," she says. "You get to know your body; it's a primitive way of evoking your feelings."
