In addition to those Trek veterans appearing in Nemesis, many Trek alumni are involved in current or upcoming projects.
William Shatner will be appearing in the film American Pyscho II: All American Girl as Professor Robert Strickland. The film stars Mila Kunis from FOX's That 70's Show. He will also make an appearance as himself in the film Showtime starring Robert De Niro, Eddie Murphy and Rene Russo.
George Takei will be appearing in the film Noon Blue Apples starring Betty Buckley of Eight is Enough fame and the Broadway musical Cats.
Nichelle Nichols can be seen this year in the film Snow Dogs playing the character Amelia Brooks. The film stars Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Coburn and was directed by Brian Levant, who previously directed the two Flintstones movies.
As already widely reported, Patrick Stewart is attached to reprise his role of Professor Charles Xavier in the sequel to the X-Men, tentatively entitled X2, due for a 2003 release.
Brent Spiner can be seen this year in the film Master of Disguise, co-written by and starring SNL alumni Dana Carvey, Spin City alumni Jennifer Esposito and James Brolin. Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura and Bo Derek also make an appearance.
Levar Burton can currently be seen playing Martin Luther King Jr. in the film Ali, starring Wil Smith and Jamie Foxx and directed by Michael Mann. Burton can also be seen as the host of the upcoming TV retrospective Roots: Celebrating 25 Years. Burton first gained fame for playing the young Kunta Kinte in the 1977 miniseries based on Alex Haley's bestseller.
Nana Visitor can currently be seen on Broadway in the lead role of Roxie Hart in the Bob Fosse-inspired musical, Chicago.
As widely reported Nicole de Boer, is co-starring with Anthony Michael Hall in the Michael Piller created series The Dead Zone, based on the Stephen King book.
Alexander Siddig can be seen this year in the film Reign of Fire starring Matthew McConaughey, Christian Bale and Izabella Scorupco. The film is being directed by Rob Bowman of X-Files fame.
Robert Duncan McNeill is attached to the horror film Infested starring Zach Galligan of Grelims fame and Lisa Ann Hadley, who has made numerous appearance as Rachel on WB's The Gimore Girls.
