According to a January 18, 2002 story by Brian Ford Sullivan of The Futon Critic, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda starring Kevin Sorbo has been secured by Tribune Entertainment for two more years.
In his Weekly Rant, Sullivan said:
"In syndication news, Tribune Entertainment has locked up its sophomore series "Andromeda" for at least two more seasons. The series has been cleared on 39 of the top 40 stations through the 2003-2004 season, covering 78 percent of the United States. The show's 2.9 average weekly rating is the highest rated for any first-run syndication hour this season followed closely by another Tribune distributed series - "Mutant X."
