Dept: General Star Trek
TrekWeb received the following press release and is pleased to pass it along for UK-based fans who may be interested:
The Shaw Theatre will host the play 'I AM STAR TREK' by the London-based Skullduggery Theatre Company on the 7/8/9th March 2002. The play attracted sell-out audiences and received excellent reviews for its performances at the Fringe Festivals in New York and Edinburgh.
Nine actors play over 50 characters in this high warp factor comedy, which incorporates classic moments from 'Star Trek' episodes and films. This new, no-holds-barred comedy about the life and works of 'Star Trek' creator, Gene Roddenberry, launches the audience on a cosmic cruise through euphoric heights and dismal lows of his career.
We believe that Skullduggery's play might be of interest to you and therefore would like to offer you an exclusive Star Trek-Fan discount offer of £10 per ticket, which is usually priced at £15 each.
The Shaw Theatre is perfectly located between two of London's main train stations, Euston and King's Cross. Various priced accommodations, backpackers, B&B's, Hotels, are available in walking distance.
