Final Ratings for "Sleeping Dogs" Recover Some Lost Ground |

The Futon Critic has posted the full set of numbers for the final ratings of the ENT episode "Sleeping Dogs", presented first-run on January 30th. It confirms earlier reports in the San Francisco Chronicle and Variety that the final rating and share for ENT the week of January 30th was a 3.9/6. The site also reports that the number of homes viewing for "Sleeping Dogs" was 6.5 million, up from 5.65 million for the previous ENT episode, "Dear Doctor." The 6.5 million homes watching "Sleeping Dogs" was the most since the pre-hiatus episode, "Cold Front."
The fact that 4 out of the last 5 ENT episodes, both pre- and post-hiatus, have secured ratings between 3.7 and 3.9 would seem to suggest that ENT's first season ratings may have solidified within that range around the 6 million homes and 6 share mark.
Science Fiction/Fantasy Genre Network Series
January 27th-February 1
(Ranked According to Number of Homes Viewing)
1) The X-Files (FOX) 5.1/7 (7.8 million)
2) Smallville (WB) 4.2/7 (7 million)
3) Enterprise (UPN) 3.9/6 (6.5 million)
4) Dark Angel (ABC) 3.8/6 (6.1 million)
5) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN) 3.5/5 (5.6 million)
6) Charmed (WB) 2.4/4 (3.9 million)
7) Roswell (UPN) 2.3/3 (3.5 million)
8) Glory Days (WB) 1.9/3 (2.9 million)
NOTE: The WB's Angel was preempted for a Smallville repeat.
