ENT's Final Ratings for "Shadows of P'Jem" Stay the Course |

The Futon Critic has posted the final ratings for the February 6th first-run presentation of the ENT episode "Shadows of P'Jem" as a 3.8/6 with 6.1 million homes viewing. This is very consistent with the trend for the last 6 first-run ENT episodes, pre- and post-hiatus. Based on this, it seems reasonable to conclude that the number of viewers ENT has lost since the September 26th premiere of the series pilot, "Broken Bow", last fall has stabilized around the 52% mark. This is, of course, ignoring the effect on ENT's viewing numbers posed by NBC's Winter Olympic coverage reported earlier this week in the article about overnight ratings for "Shuttlepod One."
For the week, The WB's "Smallville" and ENT maintained their positions at # 2 and # 3 in the top-ranked science fiction/fantasy genre one-hour drama shows. ABC's "Alias" returned from a repeat opposite the Super Bowl to take the # 1 slot in place of FOX's "The X-Files", which was preempted by an episode of "The Simpsons". FOX's "Dark Angel" struggled in its new Friday night slot, falling below UPN's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." UPN's "Roswell" and The WB's "Glory Days" rounded out the bottom of the list for this week.
Top Science Fiction/Fantasy Network Series
February 4 - 10 (based on number of homes viewing)
1) Alias (ABC) 6.1/9 (9.9 million)
2) Smallville 3.8/6 (6.4 million)
3) Enterprise (UPN) 3.8/6 (6.1 million)
4) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN) 3.3/5 (5.2 million)
5) Dark Angel (FOX) 3.2/5 (5.2 million)
6) Charmed (WB) 2.9/4 (4.7 million)
7) Angel (WB) 2.8/4 (4.6 million)
8) Roswell (UPN) 1.9/3 (3 million)
9) Glory Days (WB) 1.6/2 (2.2 million)
Note: FOX's The X-Files was preempted by an episode of The Simpsons.
