    Dept: Star Trek BBS Update

Monday morning has arrived and with it brings your weekly STAR TREK BBS update. Now folks I'm suffering from one of those 2-3 day hangovers and I am trying my best to get this done during work. Me and my crew really tied one on this weekend, so with that in mind lets look back at the week that was in STAR TREK BBS land.

G'zaar got us started last Saturday attacking the gorgeus T'Pol and really got hammered for it. People seem to forget TOS had the women running around in mini-skirts. As always, Mr. Hippo ended up pissing most of the people off in the room with his almighy banter. Funny how things end up that way someimes.

Cap'n D would address the vulcan dilemma next. It seems to most people they are behaving strangely for Vulcans in this ENTERPRISE's time. I'm sure we will get an answer at some point, we may not like it, but we'll get one.

Mr. Hippo would get us going on Sunday saying he thought Sean Young would make a great Trek Captain. People would get called sexist, when all it really boiled down to was that Sean Young is a terrible actress. By the way, is being called sexist an insult?

On Monday E2JORL would give us a top ten list from the home office in (insert town of choice here). It was the top ten things to do when your Vulcan Science officer falls on you and lodges her breasts in your face (besides the obvious).

Next up Mr. Hippo's obsession with proving that Janeway was psycho and the worst captain ever continued in the Trial of Captain Kathryn Janeway. How much more evidence is needed really? Can somebody say beating a dead horse?

Tuesday got off with Ensign-Ro-Your-Boat trying to wish Smoking Astronaut best wishes from "Dom". It turned out to be a discussion of Ro's respect list (which I was honored to be on), but ended up upsetting some, and warming the hearts of others. Anyways, I hope SA is feeling better and anyone else who is under the weather.

Skategate would make an appearance in sky_jet's ROBBED!!!. Thank goodness Jamie Sale finally got her Gold Medal. For a Canada girl she is smokin' (no offense intended to Canada or Canadians in general).

Ensign-Ro-Your-Boat was speechless for the first time ever after "Shuttlepod One" was shown Wednesday night. I really liked this episdoe too. What better way to run out of air than getting drunk? It really hit home for me.

Wesleys_fan wanted Wesley to get his own movie in a fashion that make one talk like this, bad grammar no likey do Trips McCoy, it be hard to read. I guess it will get you something though, like SuperThread of the Week. Take that for what it's worth.

LockAndLoad wondered why the shuttlepods look old but the ship looks new to start off a Friday right. If you look closely here donkeys, champagne, and TAS ended up being discussed.

Bobok was asking for trouble when he asked if their were any Gays in the future? Needless to say tempers flared and I'm staying neutral like Switzerland baby. But if it is any clue I am a Republican, take that for what it's worth.

All this would bring us to the last day of the BBS review, Saturday. Mr. Hippo would provide some insight into "Shuttlepod One". Needless to say, he ripped it. I personally enjoyed it simply for my first glimpse of Kentucky Bourbon in the future, sometimes I am really easy to please. Next he would address the flaws of TREK as a whole under B&B. I must admit that I haven't waded through all of it yet, but I intend to, and I entend to reply in kind. Sometimes I wonder where he comes up with this stuff. That is what's great about the BBS though, you never know what your gonna get.

I apologize if this week's was below the bar for me, I am still a little hung over. I promise that Friday's will be bigger and better. Now I must go and catch up even more, I have been absent for a few days and a lot happens in that amount of time around here.
