The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Deep Space Nine star Colm Meaney has been won the lead role on CBS' new fall cop show "R.U.S./H".
"Colm Meaney has been cast as one of the leads in Paul Attanasio's cop show, R.U.S./H, from Studios USA... R.U.S./H centers on an elite Los Angeles secret police unit, and Meaney will play the captain of the team. Attanasio wrote the project and will executive produce with Katie Jacobs."
"Meaney, repped by Writers & Artists and manager Rick Ax, earned a Golden Globe nomination for his starring role in the 1993 telefilm The Snapper. He is well-known for his role as Chief Petty Officer Miles O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Meaney's big-screen credits include The Van and Mystery, Alaska."
