JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG! Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.
We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
Amid years of rumors that the upcoming NEMESIS will be the final TNG installment in the STAR TREK movie franchise, actor/director Jonathan Frakes tells Cinescape in its latest issue on stands now that he can't see any reason why there shouldn't be another if the tenth proves lucrative.
"I suspect that’s going to be determined by money. Don’t you think? If this one does well, why would they stop," he posits.
In the interview, from which the magazine only made available one other quote through its web site, Frakes also says he thinks NEMESIS will benefit from the longer-than-usual four year break since INSURRECTION: "I think it’s better – it’s certainly better for the release of the film."
TrekWeb visitor Benjamin Winn sent some additional quotes from the issue:
"Stuart Baird is directing it, and we have an
A-list cinematographer named Jeffrey Kimball, who shot Top Gun and
the John Woo [films] Windtalkers and Mission: Impossible 2.
It's been really exciting to work with a new camera and grip and electric
department."
"As always is the case, the best [part] of doing the Star Trek movies
has been getting the family back together," Frakes says. "We were just
lying around on the corridor outside of sickbay the first day we were all
together, and you know, everybody's reading what they always read, got their
feet in the positions they're always in, and [we] looked at each other and
said, 'Do you feel like this is all we've done for 15 years?' Even though
everybody's gone out and done other things, it was as if we had never left
the bridge."
The actor also talks about ENTERPRISE and possibility of directing: "I saw the pilot and one other [episode so far]," he says. "I think they've
got chemistry and Bakula's a wonderful captain. And he's a blast on the
set. Obviously, LeVar [Burton]'s directed a bunch of those. Bakula is
right for that show."
"We're trying to figure out how that's going to work in the schedule,"
Frakes explains. "They offered me one [Enterprise episode to direct] that
happened to fall right in the middle of the shooting of Nemesis. But
I suspect if not this year, certainly next year [it will happen]. 'Cause
that show's not going to go away."
