UPN News Roundup: Sadler to Direct "Roswell" episode; "Wolf Lake" Confirmed (SPOILERS) |

Sci Fi Wire has reported two bits of UPN news. First, noted DEEP SPACE NINE guest star William Sadler, who played Section 31's Sloan in several episodes, steps behind the camera for the 17th episode of "Roswell's" current season. The episode is titled "Four Aliens and a Baby". Salder plays former sheriff Jim Valenti on the UPN teen-alien series.
"I have been asking to direct an episode of Roswell since season one. I think they are going to be very happy with what they got. We came in on time and on budget with a good show. I think they're going to wish we had started this in year one. I'd be a seasoned old director by now... I don't want to spoil it for people but I think it's all right to say that a character whose name starts with T comes back."

Sci Fi Wire also confirms that UPN will be airing the pilot and 4 unaired episodes of the cancelled CBS program "Wolf Lake" starring Lou Diamond Phillips beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, April 3. This would seem to confirm the pairing of the cancelled CBS program with ENT on Wednesday nights.
