JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG! Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.
We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
E! News Daily has featured NEMESIS in its latest installment, and while the piece may not reveal much about the new film, the real treat is in the visuals.
Taking place during the filming of a scene where Picard has been captured by Shinzon (Tom Hardy) and is being held aboard his warbird the Scimitar,
Patrick Stewart talks about the
film while E!'s camera grabs some stunning visuals that present the first shots of the Reman makeup and Shinzon in full costume. The interview occurs in what appears to be a set for the villain's ship, with a stairway leading to a circular window on one end of the room (see photo).
MediaTrek has grabbed these exclusive screen captures from the segment and has two versions available for download: a 22 MB Video CD format, and a 4.66 MB RealVideo format. Check out MediaTrek for the videos. TrekWeb may have some mirrors later in the day as individuals contact us to donate server space and bandwidth to help your fellow fans download the video clip.
Treknews.de has donated a mirror for the video here, while The Trekker Newsletter has setup mirros here and here.
Full Transcript
Stewart: "The good captain [patting his chest] has been captured and he is a prisoner of Shinzon, our young bad guy."
[Cut to shot of Picard standing in a restraint similar to a Borg regeneration chamber. Shinzon stands directly opposite him, in full costume, speaking.]
Interviewer: "Evildoer?"
Stewart: "[Let's call him a] confused guy..."
[Cut to shot of B-9, played by Brent Spiner in a yellow costume, standing alongside Shinzon.]
Shinzon [with odd inflection]: "I... now... have... access... to... Star... Fleet... communication... protocol..."
Interviewer: "Tom Hardy for this film is one of those new actors. What can you tell us about the villain in this one?"
[Cut to close-up of Shinzon staring down Picard.]
Stewart: "He is very bright, very charismatic, but psychologically a terrible mess."
[Cut to shot of B-9 and Shinzon entering the room earlier in the scene, some Reman solders are visible in the margins of the frame.]
Interviewer: "How do you explain how it went from sort of a cult following to where now if you don't know about STAR TREK, you're on the outside?"
Stewart: "But you know, that original cult following was large, so I understand. So it wasn't a handful of people sitting in their dens watching Bill and Leonard and the original crew."
[Cut to clip of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy from TOS.]
Interviewer: "Is this the end of the road for the Next Generation?"
Stewart: "I honestly don't know, and I also don't know if it should be. Ultimately, these things come down to one issue, and that's profits."
[Cut to close-up of the Remans in full makeup, then a rapid left pan to Picard in the restraint from previous clips.]
Stewart continues: "But I have a notion that there is a sequel begging to be made of this particular movie, [chuckles]."
Interviewer: "To find out what happens to Captain Picard, well, you're going to have to wait until it comes to a theater near you, later this year." [Interviewer is beamed away in cheesy fashion.]
News anchor: "... STAR TREK: NEMESIS opens in November."
