ENTERPRISE ended its current slate of first-run presentations at the end of the February sweeps period with the T'Pol-focused episode "Fusion." Two-thirds of the way through its inaugural season, the latest Trek series currently stands in 4th place for the season among all science fiction/fantasy genre network series still in production, according to The Futon Critic.

ABC's Alias and FOX's The X-Files are far ahead of the pack for the season-to-date, securing the #1 and #2 slots respectively. Each series garners at least 2.5 million more viewers than their nearest competitors with Alias averaging a million more viewers than The X-Files itself.

The #3-5 slots are bunched together within a range of less than one million viewers between FOX's Dark Angel's 6.43 million viewers in the #3 slot and The WB's Smallville's 5.83 million viewers in the #5 slot. ENT stands in-between at 4th place averaging 6.22 million viewers to date.

There is a second grouping of shows in the #6-8 slots with UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The WB's Angel and Charmed all within a range of one million viewers of each other. UPN's Roswell and The WB's Glory Days trail far behind the rest of the pack, each averaging less than 3 million viewers.
