Zap2it reports that last night's first-run presentation of "Rogue Planet" scored a 4.9/7 in the overnight Nielsen ratings. This is two tenths of a percentage point below the overnight rating for the previous first-run episode, "Fusion," on February 27th. To date this would then be the lowest overnight rating that the new series has generated.
CBS's latest SURVIVOR series won the eight o'clock hour, scoring a 12.4/20, but this wasn't enough to dethrone NBC from the number on spot. DATELINE and ABC's MY WIFE AND KIDS and ACCORDING TO JIM came in after SURVIVOR for the hour. UPN managed to tie with Fox for the fourth spot overall, but ENTERPRISE beat Fox's reruns during the eight o'clock hour.
