TrekToday reports today that the season finale of ENTERPRISE's first season, set to begin shooting tomorrow, is currently titled "Shockwave." The episode will be directed by TREK veteran Allan Kroeker, who directed both DEEP SPACE NINE and VOYAGER's series finales.
The site offers no other information about the final episode, except for a potential air date of May 22nd.
UPDATE Mar. 27: In its continuing coverage of the Grand Slam convention in Pasadena over the weekend, the official web site has posted comments by Brannon Braga briefly mentioning the season finale and confirming that it will be a cliffhanger:
"The final episode will deal a lot with that [the temporal cold war], as will the first episode of next year, and you'll learn a lot more about it," he said.
The producer also discussed exploring the foundations of the Federation, saying, "Over the course of the seasons, we definitely want to get into, how did it all come to be? How did this thing called the Federation happen? How did they become part of the intergalactic neighborhood? How did they earn respect? That's all going to be part of the show, for sure. We will be hinting at it early next season."
