Gamespot has posted four new screen shots of the upcoming Activision sequel STAR TREK: ELITE FORCE II. The site also reveals that the game, unlike its predecessor STAR TREK VOYAGER: ELITE FORCE, will take place in the NEXT GENERATION universe aboard the Enterprise-E rather than Janeway's vessel.
"Star Trek Elite Force II is the continuation of one of the most highly regarded Star Trek games ever," said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president of Activision Worldwide Studios. "Incredible graphics, exotic environments, great characters, excellent teammate AI, and, of course, the richness of the Star Trek universe-- this action game has it all."
The game is currently in development at Ritual Entertainment with no release date yet set. The screenshots show the update of the characters complete with FIRST CONTACT-era uniforms. For more information and the screens, check out this page.
