JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG! Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.
We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

In a new interview with Zap2it, actors Scott Bakula and former QUANTUM LEAP co-star Dean Stockwell talk about next week's "Detained."
"They've got these humanoids called the Suliban," he says, "and some of them are bad, some of them are good. I'm detaining a whole bunch of the good ones, so they won't go out and get bad," says Stockwell of the plot. "Archer is of the impression -- because he's with the prisoners, among them -- he thinks they should be freed. So that's the conflict between he and I."
Stockwell says the role came out of the blue. "I was not discussing it. I was just waiting to see if it happened. Then someone over there got the idea, and they rewrote the character, and there it was."
"I'm totally recognizable. Scott comes into my office, the first scene we have, and I turn into a big old close-up, and, for all intents and purposes, there's Al, looking at Sam."
"I go over to my desk, and they've got this little device that's got a little screen on it, and three buttons. I pick it up, punch something in and get data out of it." After a hearty laugh, Stockwell says, "Somebody was watching the old show and knew about Ziggy."
Bakula says the ENT production schedule has been much more amenable than his LEAP days. "The year's been easier than I thought it would be. Don didn't have a choice but to [work me hard]. That series wouldn't have worked any other way. Now I'm splitting time with six other folks, and it's been a surprise to myself and my whole family."
The newest TREK captain also talks about the return of Vulcan intrigue in the upcoming "Fallen Hero," saying, "We've got Fionnula Flanagan as a Vulcan, and she just kicks it. She's an ambassador, and she is like Indira Gandhi. She is incredible. She has this whole thing with T'Pol and me. It's a really good episode."
For the episode "Desert Crossings," featuring cameos by real U.S. Navy personnel, Bakula says the cast and crew visited the desert for shooting. "We're in desert gear," Bakula says. "We went to a real desert. We had a ball, but it was crazy. There's a desert in Southern California, right near Mexico. It looks like the Sahara. It's unbelievable. It was great."
