JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG!
Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place. We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the limit on civilian and other personnel. We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

Patrick Stewart was in Holland (Noordwijk, Space Expo) today to promote the release of the first season of TNG on DVD.

After the press conference and obligatory photo shoot, Patrick took out some time to meet the fans on a sunny front lawn of the complex. He discussed some tidbits about the new movie, which he thought would become as good as "First Contact", confirming that principal photography finished three weeks ago and that post-production is now well under way. He also mentioned a "new look" of the Enterprise Bridge (but he was referring in comparison to the series, rather than to Insurrection). He told that the movie would feature some romance and sex but that, unfortunately, the good captain was not involved.

Patrick recalled that he had the greatest of time racing a futuristic off-road vehicle with Brent Spiner (Data) and Michael Dorn (Worf).

While he stated that Nemesis could be the last TNG movie, he confirmed that Paramount would probably make more if enough revenue was generated.

Patrick also mentioned that during production, the Captain's chair was stolen from the Paramount lot ! This led to fellow captain Scott bakula (Archer) knocking on Patrick's trailer (which is across the "Enterprise" lot) in order to present a makeshift wooden new "captain's chair" by means of a joke.
