Come join a Star Trek PBeM adventure of a lifetime. Be a part of the crew and family that is the USS Wraith as we seek out new life and new civilizations. (0 comments | Add)
Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
In a report from the recent Denver, CO Starfest (April 21st) at Chrissys.com, Marina Sirtis reveals some subtle details about this fall's upcoming STAR TREK: NEMESIS.
After says she knows everyone already knows Riker and Troi get married, she reveals, "I have a pink pink wedding. It couldn't be white, could it. We'll leave it there. It was pink."
Continuing, she says, "I get to fly the ship again. I'm really upset though because every time I drive......No. I don't crash this time. But the ship does get damaged. It is just not fair. It always happens on my watch. It is like, 'ok she is driving now. We can do something to the ship and she'll get all the blame. The Women driver will get all the blame.'," she says.
The actress, who has sometimes had a reputation for spilling the beans about the TNG movie plots, said her contract has a special tight-lipped clause in it.
"[The contract] says, if you talk about the movie, we will take your name off the movie, and we will not pay you. Now, I could care less if my name is on the movie because you all know who I am. But the money thing is important to me. I went into work the day after I signed the contract and I said to the guy, 'what about the clause in the contract?' ... 'we don't have that clause'. It was special for me because they know me. They know I come to the conventions and tell you everything. I'm not going to do it. I'm going to wait till the checks have cleared, ok." One fan asked for some Patrick Stewart stories and Marina entertained with a joke that occurred during shooting of NEMESIS.
"Patrick Stewart, or your majesty? You know I use to get those really stupid lines, 'Captain, he is hiding something' -- ya, like no sh*t, Like it was really obvious. So I had one of those lines. I don't know what it was but his royal heinous, goes [in a deep Patrick Stewart type voice] 'we know that, you stupid cow. You waste of space.' Then he looked at me and ran and he hid behind Brent. I walked over to him, and I said 'look here your majesty, I'm just the actress, I don't write the lines, I just say them and there is no point in hiding behind Brent, he doesn't really have super human strength, you idiot'. Patrick is a little scared of me. I think all boys are a little scared of me. It's good, it's good for them." For more of the actress's remarks at the convention, check out this page.
