JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG! Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.
We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

In his latest behind-the-scenes update on TheDeadZone.net, co-creator and executive producer Michael Piller boasts about his newest project, saying the first eight episodes of the series premiering next month have really hit their stride.
"The first eight episodes of "The Dead Zone" are as good as any eight shows in a row I've ever been involved with in this business," Piller says. "It usually takes an entire season for a series to find its way. On the Star Trek series, for reasons I can't entirely explain, it always seemed to take two years to get solid creative footing (although I happen to believe that the second season of Voyager did some classic Trek, my friend Mark Altman would disagree)."
He reveals another episode title and hook, "The Seige," a money-saving installment that takes place entirely inside a bank set where Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) must manipulate a hostage situation through his unique visions.
"Each move that he makes in the present has a consequence that changes the future," Piller reveals.
The exec also talks about the challenge of doing a "bottle show" (or show that uses limited locations) in a series premised on a character's psychic visions. "'Bottle shows' for us are challenging, because Johnny's visions take us so many places. At first glance, our jury show ("Unreasonable Doubt" -- by TREK vet Michael Taylor) would seem like it might be a bottle show because the main drama takes place in a jury room. But in the show, Johnny's visions go into the past lives of other jurors, as well as to the scene of a crime. It turned out to be one of the most expensive and ambitious shows of the season."
Piller raves about former TNG and VOY writer Joe Menosky's script "Enigma," saying a rough cut he recently watched "was as good as an hour of television can get."
"They say there are lower expectations for cable television - well, I challenge you to find anything this rewarding on network television this summer (or for that matter, next fall!)," Piller challenges viewers.
Check out this page for more of Piller's update, including discussion of an upcoming comedy episode. Also, stay tuned to TrekWeb for an exclusive new interview with Michael Piller, Michael Taylor, and Joe Menosky about THE DEAD ZONE and their STAR TREK pasts next week!
