JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG! Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.
We're expecting to be around for a long time, so if you come, plan to stay! We can be reached by clicking Contact Administration or Joining the Game on our site.

According to Zap2it (Mediaweek's Marc Berman has yet to report), last night's first-run presentation of the ENTERPRISE episode "Two Days and Two Nights" fell slightly from the week prior, garnering a 4.7/7 in the overnights. As usual, Zap2it's figure could be slightly lower, making the decline even more negligible from last week's overnight for "Fallen Hero," 4.9/8.
The Hollywood Reporter has reported the final numbers for last week's ENTERPRISE double header featuring "Fallen Hero" and "Desert Crossing." The former, in the regular ENT timeslot last week, had a 3.2 rating, which is 6% lower than "Vox Sola" the week before with a 3.4 rating. The audience size decreased by 60,000 to 5.34
million. The extra ENT episode, "Desert Crossing" declined slightly with a 3.0 rating and an
audience of 4.68 million. Meanwhile the penultimate episode of THE X-FILES received its highest ratings since the season premiere:
Ratings/Share Audience (Audience for each half hour)
Dinotopia 8.4/15 17.03 million (14.3-16.7-18.0-19.2) (Part I of miniseries)
Alias 6.5/10 11.25 million (11.7-10.8) (season finale))
X-Files 6.2/10 10.33 million (10.5-10.2))
Smallville 3.9/6 6.42 million (6.3-6.5))
Enterprise 3.2/5 5.34 million (5.2-5.5) (Fallen Hero))
Charmed 3.2/5 4.98 million (4.7-5.2))
Angel 3.1/5 5.17 million (5.4-4.9))
Enterprise 3.0/5 4.68 million (4.6-4.8) (Desert Crossing))
Buffy 2.7/4 4.06 million (3.9-4.2))
Roswell 1.8/3 2.81 million (2.8-2.8)
In demographics, ENTERPRISE continues to perform well for UPN. Among Adults 18-49, "Fallen Hero" had a 2.9 rating, 4% increase over "Vox Sola" and the highest for ENT since "Cold Front" last November. As
usual ENT was the highest rated show for UPN:
Adult 18-49 ratings:
Dinotopia 6.0/18 (Part I)
Alias 5.1/12
X-Files 4.9/12
Smallville 3.1/8
Enterprise 2.9/8 (Fallen Hero)
Enterprise 2.5/6 (Desert Crossing)
Angel 2.4/6
Buffy 2.2/6
Charmed 2.0/5
Roswell 1.4/3

In other science fiction television news, the Fox network has made a surprising decision to axe the mildly successful Jessica Alba vehicle DARK ANGEL (produced by James Cameron) for a new pilot of the Joss Whedon sci-fi series FIREFLY. This midnight decision means three TREK veterans are again looking for work: Ira Steven Behr (producer, DS9), Kenneth Biller (producer, VOY), and Rene Echevarria (producer, DS9) all served as producers on the series for various episodes. Here's the scoop on this unprecedented decision from The Futon Critic:
"In my six years of covering television, I've never seen a more bizarre series of events transpire than those that did late last night. In what can easily be called one of the biggest 11th hour moves in recent memory, FOX has ripped one series from life while resurrected another from death. "Dark Angel," which had previously been reported as renewed has now been canceled in favor of the Joss Whedon drama "Firefly." It seems that FOX never gave the James Cameron produced series a formal commitment as executives had planned to renew "Dark Angel" in reaction to their disappointment over "Firefly's" two-hour pilot. However in the past few days the prolific Whedon took it upon himself to pen a new pilot script that impressed FOX executives enough to go with "Firefly" instead. A new one-hour pilot will be shot with the previous two-hour pilot being repurposed for later in the season. With production costs of both series being two of the network's most expensive, executives felt that they could only financially support one of the two series next season leading to the "one or the other" situation."
