JUNCTION POINT: NOT JUST ANOTHER PBeM RPG!
Junction Point is a freefloating space station that is located in that
dark area between Gorn, Tholian, and Klingon space, within a whiff of
the Romulan Empire. K7, as we call it, is adjacent to Sherman's
Planet, where, just 76 years before, the tribble incident took place.
We're set in the year 2380, after the Borg encounters and the Dominion
War, at the very end of the ST-TV timelines. This is a very fastpaced
game composed of a solid base of experienced and expert players, some
of them professionally published in the SF-Fantasy genre. Our location
is junction.the-fgn.org and we're always ready to welcome a few
new players into our warm and friendly community. If our roster appears full at the positions that interest you, don't
let that discourage you from joining. There's enough posting for
duplications in Senior Officer positions and the imagination's the
limit on civilian and other personnel.

Sci Fi Pulse just posted an exclusive interview with former DS9 writer/executive producer Ron Moore, in which he talks about his plans for the proposed remake of the 'classic' BATTLESTAR GALACTICA series of the late seventies. Here are some excerpts :
Q : You said in the recent interview on Zap2it that you are looking to go back to the beginning with GALACTICA. What sort of changes can we expect to see ?
Moore : "I'm in the middle of working on the script and I'm making many of those decisions right now, so I'll have to be vague and give you what won't be a very satisfying answer. The basis of the mini-series will be a retelling of the original story; that is, the events that cause Galactica and the fugitive fleet to begin their journey. There will be familiar characters from the original show, and new ones as well. I'm trying to flesh out the backstory of what led up to these cataclysmic events as well as round out many of the characters and their relationships. I can tell you that both the studio and the network were very happy with the outline and that things are going exceptionally well with this project so far."
"Some of the things we WON'T be doing : "Galactica 90210". This will not be a show dedicated to sex and wacky teenage hijinks. Battlestar Galactica without a battlestar named Galactica. This has to be one of the craziest rumors I've heard. An all-male cast. Quite the contrary. There will be a strong female component to the show, including more women pilots thanin the original."
