Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
Over the last few weeks since principal photography wrapped on STAR TREK: NEMESIS, several items from the production have appeared at the online auction site eBay. Ranging from a crew jacket to an autographed photo of the cast, these items have appeared authentic even while their validity has never been firmly established.
The latest is a storyboard illustration showing what appears to be a new design for a Federation shuttlecraft. The storyboard, a drawing used to help imagine how a film sequence will look in the final movie, appears to take place right before an action sequence involving STAR TREK's first land vehicle. The sequence, in which Picard drives a sort of 24th century jeep across an alien landscape, is premised by the arrival of the new shuttlecraft -- the Argo, according to an early draft of the script -- that houses this new piece of Starfleet equipment.
The drawing is potentially by long-time STAR TREK illustrator Rick Sternbach, who joined the NEMESIS team to develop several new ships. UPDATE: Sternbach has contacted TrekWeb to inform us that this storyboard is not his work, as his involvement with NEMESIS was limited to prop and panel graphics and some set pieces. The former illustrator did not, however, directly confirm or deny the authenticity of this piece.
The authenticity of this storyboard, however, has not been determined and should be treated as a rumor. You can go to the original auction page for a larger and clearer photograph.
React to this story below and then see what others are saying about this topic at the STAR TREK BBS.
