Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home.

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
Well the promotional materials from the STAR TREK: NEMESIS CD have made it online overnight at TrekToday. The disc contains promotional desktop wallpapers and a screen saver, as well as a software interface to access all the materials. The CD also includes some sound bites from the film. As reported yesterday, the trailer is expected in theaters July 3rd with MEN IN BLACK II. Screenshots are below.
In related news, TrekWeb's 'Robnhud' has chimed in with some teaser trailer news. While we now know that it's likely the first trailer for NEMESIS will hit U.S. screens over the July 4th weekend, TrekWeb's told that the trailer will be loose in the can, meaning theaters can choose whether to show it, and with which film(s) to do so. Also, we're told that the trailer will be somewhat of a departure for STAR TREK teasers in that it is likely to feature almost all new footage. Previous TNG movie teasers have been largely composed of stock shots and new title graphics. The trailer is also expected to weigh in at around a minute in length.
As mentioned earlier, Paramount's entertainment news magazine Entertainment Tonight will likely have the teaser on American television screens a few days prior to July 3rd, the theatrical release date for the trailer.
