Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
The latest issue of Star Trek Monthly magazine, just out in the UK, features an exclusive interview with actor Ron Perlman, who plays the role of 'Viceroy' in the upcoming Trek feature 'NEMESIS'. Here are some excerpts :
"It doesn't seem to let much oxygen in a pinch, so am breathing out of my mouth and nose and not much else" Perlman told journalist Ian Spelling, referring to his latex face and headpiece "I can't take it off until the end of the day. It takes a couple of hours to put on and the days have been anywhere between 12 and 17 hours, no less than 12 and probably close to 15 on average."
"I have almost no mobility in it" he adds, in regards to the pyshical demands of his costume "Almost everything I do I'm fighting the costume. This is a very unique excersize in pacing yourself, and I come up short every day. Every night I go home just whipped, really whipped."
You can read the full interview, in which Perlman also praises his co-star Tom Hardy ('Shizon') here at the SciFi Pulse website.
