The Federation Science STAR TREK exhibit, currently on its European tour from June 29th to October 27th, submitted the following press release to TrekWeb regarding available positions in the UK. Federation Science is at the Manchester Museum of Industry and Science and features interactive exhibits showcasing the science of STAR TREK.
WANTED CREW MEMBERS
Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays
11am – 3.30pm
£ 5.37 per hour
You will be able to provide your own authentic Star Trek costume and act as ambassador for all visitors to our Star Trek Exhibition.
Duties will include welcoming visitors, entertaining queues, providing accurate information and advice, interpreting exhibits, maintaining gallery presentation, Security and Health and Safety. Willingness to participate in PR activities is desirable.
Successful candidates will be motivated and enthusiastic, have experience in a customer focused environment and be absolutely reliable. A natural team player, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
